The
building is located in Jumeriah Lake Towers in the south of Dubai. The area has
both apartments, offices and shops.
As the
fire spread through the skyscraper fled the residents out on the street - some
wearing only pajamas, reports the news agency AP.
Police in
Dubai say that they quickly gained control of the fire and that no people were
injured. In contrast to hundreds of apartments in the building have been
destroyed.
According
