                                                475 people dead in a storm.

At least 475 people died in a storm in the country Philippines. The storm swept over the island Mindanao and caused great damage. The winds were fierce and tore up trees by roots. Roof blew off houses and electricity lines collapsed. The rain poured down and it was a flood.

At least 200 thousand people have got their homes destroyed. Rescue workers believe that the death toll can rise.

Many people are still missing.

The 37 year old midfielder David Beckham who has played for America during the past six seasons and says that he wants a last challenge before the end of his career.

It´s not revealed where the former Manchester United and Real Madrid player will go.

But a spokesman has said he has no plans to play in Australia.

Beckham started in Manchester United when he was only 14, and continued doing 398 appearances for the club, winning six Premier League and Champions League.

He moved to Real Madrid in a 25million pound deal in 2003. In 2007 he won the La Liga title, before moving to America.

He won the MLS Cup in 2001 with LA Galaxy, and was voted the league´s best player by supporters this season.
